199 : All the effort for nigh

I accept nets, mastercard, cash, tags, emails, nudges for condolences, either that you could drop some flowers by my grave at lim chu kang when you pass by. The world ends. Labels: architecture nonsense, insignificant me 198 : dinner and dance photos Although overall, the food ain't THAT great, but still the vegetarian pasta was fantastic, with the buffet and cakes, fabulous.  yummy. Prom was a blast, most of us had dressed our best in our most formal attire, some were outright impressive, some were utterly ridiculous. Games were normal, not important, had a pageant for mr and ms BE(build environment), funny but still, unnecessary, the most critical part of the night was of course the lucky draw. Having graduated(almost) from architecture, we're considered lucky already, and my table were of course filled with lucky people. 1st prize was snagged by kelvin from my table, a LCD TV worthed around 1k, lucky he got his dad to drive it home. 2nd prize winner was dominic-chan, my once enemy now good buddy, he got a PINK IPOD SHUFFLE NANO, cool la ! 3rd prize was some expensive speaker system by yet another archi-dude from another table, and 4th prize, from my table is non other than MYSELF ! 5th prize onwards are unimportant and boring, popular vouchers and stuff.  We're weird, i know, and its an all-guys club. Things get dry after awhile of hanging out with too many guys. Yup, from the 4th prize is a RED crumpler bag. Labels: YUI wallpaper 196 : Productivity -10%, Waist +20%, GG What if, just what if you strike that million dollars TOTO/4D and become an instant millionaire thats happening recently in Singapore ? What would you buy, and what would you, do ? After seeing the long queues at the local betting stations, i'm actually quite eager to go in line and join in the fun, who knows the next winner might be me. But then again, everyone has the same mindset, はは just mentioned that her friend's family just killed over 500 bucks on betting alone this weekend on 4D, thats just overkill. And who am i to dream that my lucky $2 ticket could lead me to the ultimate life of luxury. I better stop dreaming and stick working the hard way up to some good fortune. On the other hand, bad luck seems to be hitting the jackpot on my slot machine, i should learn from ben to pick up fengshui and change my luck a bit. Its only one 5 days away and well, we're all very excited. Sad news there's not enough girls to go around, we manage to secure 2 tables for our class alone, not bad sia. Seeing how tall my other cousins grew and the ridiculous amount of babies my other aunts had produced, it had sadly seeped into the idea that, i had indeed aged. Following the chinese calender, i'm 21 already.Wow 21, can't believe i'm typing that too. Tomorrow is once again, valentine's day. People all around had booked restaurants, movies, interesting programmes for whatever stuff they want to waste their precious time and money with. Maybe its just the sour grapes, maybe its just me but i just want to sit on the Singapore Flyer and just... look at the city skyline, thats just sweet. Anyhow : The good stuff Folks, the image below is not a render, i repeat, its NOT a render !  Its out, finally out the damn prototype. Compare it with the original draft i made.Ahahahahha ! Its gonna be another lonely 2008 valentines again ! Completed the long awaited Rovering Portal at www.singaporerovers.org. Thats such a huge relieve, one less responsibility to be bothered about. Been doing research and asking around regarding university courses. Initial impression was quite sad, local universities just didn't really have what i want, and for a degree, its tooo long ! Tasmania university looks good (and cheap, ok cheaper than other overseas uni) and their degree course with my advance standing is only ONE year. Then can come back singapore to do my masters for 2 years. Alternatively, i can... take up my other interest locally industrial (product) design in NUS for FOUR years with only a degree. Will find out more from my friends next week, but right now, its SLACK ! Hopefully get into the course i want, and graduate before 30 years of age. Some steps in spending quality time to break out of project mode :  step 1 : vegetarian shark's fin noodle soup - $5, delicious !  step 2 :go TCC for their awesome latte with cookie with friends and dumb jokes. perfect match.  step 3 : spend more hardearned cash at the coffeeclub the next day for more banana pecan caramel latte - sughey !  step 4 : finishing it off with expensive (not so worth the money) ice cream at koolrock step 5 : regret spending so much on food and stay home and rot  step 6 and final step : unfattening off those sins with tennis at friend's place and hitting home runs like a real newb Next phase, work mode switch ON ! Its time for more architectural competitions and jobbing to feed my 10 wives and 100 kids. I've got an extra week to go back to school next week to work on those competitions... YATTA ! More CS !
